Size & Fit
House of Hox pieces are handmade to order, each piece designed to move with you.
We use our own House of Hox sizing system, based on your body measurements rather than standard international sizes.
Choose Small, Medium or Large based on the measurements below. If you need something outside these sizes, Custom is always an option.
All measurements below are body measurements, not garment measurements.
Find your size
For tops
Measure your underbust, bust and check your cup size.
For bottoms
Measure your waist and hip.
Use a soft measuring tape and measure directly against your body without pulling it tight.
Tops
UNDERBUST
Measure around your ribcage, directly underneath your bust.
BUST
Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
CUP
Use your usual bra cup size as a reference.
MEASUREMENT REFERENCE
| TOPS | SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE |
| Underbust | 70–75 cm | 75–82 cm | 82–90 cm |
| Bust | 80–90 cm | 90–100 cm | 100–110 cm |
| Cup | A–C | B–D | B–D |
Example:
If your underbust falls within Small but your bust falls within Medium, choose Custom. We can adjust the proportions of the piece to suit your body.
Bottoms
WAIST
Measure around your natural waist, where your body naturally creases when you bend to one side.
HIP
Measure around your hips at the hip-bone level – where the garment is designed to sit.
MEASUREMENT REFERENCE
| BOTTOMS | SMALL | MEDIUM | LARGE |
| Waist | 68–73 cm | 74–80 cm | 81–90 cm |
| Hip | 80–85 cm | 85–91 cm | 91–98 cm |
Which size should I choose?
If your measurements fall comfortably within one size, choose that size.
If your measurements fall across two different sizes, choose Custom so we can adjust the proportions for you.
If you fall outside the Small–Large ranges, choose Custom.
Some House of Hox pieces also have adjustable straps, ties or bows, giving you additional flexibility in fit.
Custom
Not quite a standard size? That's okay.
Our pieces are handmade to order, so we can accommodate bodies that don't fit neatly into one size.
Choose Custom if your measurements fall across different sizes, fall outside our standard ranges, or you know you need a particular adjustment.
After your order, we'll ask for the measurements needed for your specific piece and guide you through the process.
How to measure
You'll need:
- A soft measuring tape
- A mirror
- Someone to help, if possible
Measure directly against your body without pulling the tape tight.
Stand naturally. Don't hold your breath or change your posture.
Take each measurement twice.
The measurements don't need to be perfect. If something looks unclear, we'll help.
A note on fit
House of Hox pieces are designed to move with you and feel good on the body.
The measurement ranges are therefore not rigid garment dimensions. They are a guide to the body measurements each House of Hox size is designed to accommodate.
Because every body is different, the same size can look slightly different from person to person. That's part of what makes a piece yours.
